Xbox Portable Coming Out In 2009-2010?

Xbox isn’t a stupid company. They are considered geniuses considering the fact that they made the first integrated hard drive system. And they are known for making a great system in the Xbox 360 (Arcade, Elite and Pro). But, the system they are lacking in the most is the handheld world. Xbox isn’t really working well in this area, since they don’t have any products to compete with the PSP or Nintendo DS (Lite).

So, what does Xbox news have for us? Great ones. They have been rumored to be working on the Xbox Portable. They’re release date is probably late 2008, early 2009, but that’s great because that’s before they release PS4, Wii 2 and Xbox 720 (all by the way, are still rumors). Anyway, Xbox Portable has been aunnounced as rumors in early 2006.

Another great thing about the Xbox Portable is that TeamXbox is giving their customers a chance to help them out with the system. With a mini survey from Xbox, you can answer some questions that could be added to the Xbox Portable. This is good because Xbox is giving other Xbox owners a chance to let Xbox see their flaws, and try to improve on it.

True or False:
I’m leaning towards true because Xbox is in need of a handheld system. That’s what’s hurting Xbox right now. If Xbox is truly planning to do this, the handheld battle between Nintendo DS Lite and PSP could change drastically.

Ice Cream Craze: Tycoon Takeover is the sequel to the original Ice Cream Craze that made time management games cool (heh). Help Anna grow her business from an old ice cream truck into a force to challenge the well-established ice cream tycoon BigCo.

In the original Ice Cream Craze, you helped a teenager in the 1950’s called Jan run her parents’ ice cream shop. Now, it’s 2 decades later, and you find out that her shop was run out of business by a giant company called BigCo. You now play the part of Anna, Jan’s granddaughter. Anna believes that she can compete against BigCo, and starts off by serving ice cream out of an old ice cream truck. Granny Jan is also there to give advice along the way.

The overall goal of the game is to grow Anna’s business large enough to challenge BigCo. You do that by having over $5000 in the bank and significant busines presence in all 9 locations in town. How you go about this is what makes the game stand out from other time management games and presents a fresh new perspective.

The main part of Ice Cream Craze: Tycoon Takeover is the actual serving of ice cream to customers at the ice cream truck. This starts off pretty easy at first, with just cones, 3 flavors of ice cream and 3 toppings to choose from. But depending on each level’s difficulty, you might end up having to juggle cones, brownies and pies, and all sorts of flavors and toppings.

The difficulty of each level depends on which part of town you are in and what you are playing for. And this is where the game stands out from other time management games. In other games, you get to buy upgrades in between games. In this game however, the upgrades are rewards in completing specific levels. So you will need to decide whether you want to play for an espresso machine that gives you temporary speed boosts, or a cupcake platter that keeps your customers satisfied for longer.

The game isn’t just a linear series of levels as well. The gameplay is separated by days, and what you decide to do each day has a huge impact on how successful your ice cream business will be. Wiill you spend Day 9 trying to earn the espresso machine? Or should you instead be trying to set up a new stall at the circus in order to earn you continuous side income every day? Setting up ne

w stalls might be a good idea, but if you don’t go for efficiency upgrades, you might find some of the more advanced levels a bit hard to cope with.

It is this overarching strategy that gives the game much of its appeal and will keep you coming back for more even after you’ve finished the game. Do you want to play like a businessman and quickly establish bases all over town? Or would you rather increase the efficiency of your ice cream service and earn big bucks every day?

The look and feel of the game isn’t too bad either. There aren’t any flashy movies or cool animations, but the graphics in the game are pleasant and definitely capture the feel of an ice cream business. However, one thing that bothers me is the abnormally big eyes that the characters have. They just creep me out…

Ice Cream Craze 2 is a great game to try, not only because it contains a really good time management aspect, but also revolves around a very fun and delicious business. Furthermore, the overall strategic and business decisions you have to make in this game give it a unique feel that is different from the other time management games out there.

If you are looking for free games to download to your PSP, then the first place you should check is the official Sony Playstation website, http://www.playstation.com. The official website features a Media and Downloads section where you can get videos, music, wallpapers, and playable game demos for your PSP. Note that I wrote “game demos” as the full games are not available for download. However, the game demos do have play value and allow you to basically test drive a game for a few levels, though to complete it you would eventually have to buy the full commercial version of it.

Another way to find free game demos for download is to check your favorite game publisher’s site. The game publisher will most likely publish news and updates that will inform you when a new game demo is available to be downloaded. You can also check out PSP discussion forums, such as the official PSP community at yourpsp.com. I have found that an excellent site for discovering the latest PSP rumors and definitely a great place to find information about available game demos.

But what if you are looking for free games to download that are not demos? That may be difficult, for as far as I can tell, none of the official game developers are offering a full game as a free download at this time. All of the other ways I could find to download free PSP games were of doubtful legitimacy. For example, there are torrent sites that publish lists of links to active torrents that will allow you to download a PSP game from the torrent network. While some of the torrents are legitimate downloads, others are bootleg or pirated versions, and you should try to determine which is the case. It is not legal to download a pirated copy of a game, and furthermore, you run the risk of downloading a trojan or a virus with it to your PSP. Some of these trojans are “brickers” that essentially destroy your PSP and turn it into nothing more than a glorified brick.

You may also be able to download free games that are actually homebrew programs. As the name implies, these homebrew games are created by unofficial developers and as such, they are not recognized by Sony. If you want to play these types of games, you will have to make modifications to your PSP’s configuration. That can be a very complicated procedure, and you should not attempt it if you do not know what you are doing. It seems like a great deal of trouble just to play a few games that were developed by homebrew designers.

Finally, there are a number of websites that offer free downloads of games, but a closer examination of these sites will show that you have to pay a membership fee to gain access to the game downloads. So you are certainly not getting a free lunch. It is also hard to tell how legitimate these sites are. They look suitably advanced and flashy, but you still ought to be wary. Some may indeed be legitimate, but others may merely be purporting to offer legitimate downloads. If you do decide to go this route, shop around and see which site has the best deal to offer you.
